We passed through Madison with enough time to only glimpse the incredible weekend farmer's market and the impressive Capitol building. Students, in their red UW shirts, swarmed around us in the summer sunshine. The lakes (Mendota and Monona) were dotted with boats. The place was bustling and we were longing for the relative quiet of the open road. On the way out of town this young women, with her fall bouquet and impressive body art, let me take her picture.
